GET STARTEDIn 2018, Ashley host a Mexican food-themed dinner. “I wanted to make a difference in a child’s life. To fundraise I asked family and friends to support children in need of healthy meals by utilizing social media to spread awareness about No Kid Hungry’s mission to help kids.”
Pamela and her son William hosted ‘Kidsgiving: Step Into Santa’s Boots’ as their Friendsgiving annual holiday party. “Children bring coins from their piggy bank. We accept contributions from the community also, if they’d like to donate. The best part of hosting was watching children excitedly put their coins in the boot and take home lots of treats.”
Ann Marie has been hosting Friendsgiving celebrations for her friends and family for years. In 2018 she decided to change it up by getting her community active. Her 5K ended with a Friendsgiving meal that fed the souls of her friends while raising money to feed hungry kids.
